GRAY PUMICE STONE “AKKO SANTOS”

Description

In the Akko Scissors line, the pumice stones have been selected to meet all the practical needs of groomers for Stripping: only hard-grained (or “coarse”) pumice stones are actually offered, as soft-grained (or “fine”) ones have a very pronounced tendency to crumble during use, excessively soiling the dog’s coat.

Akko Scissors pumices are all characterized by hardness, which minimizes stone crumbling, generating little residue on the coat, easily removed with a quick pass of the blower at the end of the Stripping session. The stones offered in our catalog differ in porosity (the more porous ones are more suitable for abundant coats and hard coats, while the less porous ones are best suited for trimming), their shape (which can be further shaped to fit the operator’s hand), and their distinguishing color.

The Akko Scissors range consists of 4 types of pumice stones:

POMICE GREEK: fairly small and regular-shaped stone, not very porous.

WHITE PUMICE: voluminous stone with an irregular shape and more porous texture.

BROWN PUMICE: voluminous, irregularly shaped, fairly porous stone.

BLACK PUMICE: small, regular-shaped stone with little porous texture.
