THE AKKO SCISSORS MAINTENANCE GUIDELINES

01

HANDGRIP

Hold the scissors in the correct position when cutting. Improper use accelerates the deterioration process of the blade and cutting edge. This results in an imprecise cut in line and finish.
02

STORAGE

Store Your scissors carefully to prevent damage in case of a fall.
03

PERFORMANCE

To get the best performance from your scissors, put a few drops of oil on the length of both blades at least every two to three days, but it is also advisable to do this daily.
04

CHECKS

Check the tension of the screw at least once a day.
05

GREASE

Always hold the scissors by the handle to avoid damaging the blades from sweat and moisture on your hands.
06

ALIGNMENT

Always place the scissors on a soft surface so that they are perfectly aligned.
07

BALL BEARING SCREW

Use a brush to clean hair and debris from the screw, and perform this procedure regularly.
08

BLADES

Clean the blades daily, removing residual hair with a soft, lint-free cloth.
09

MATERIAL

Never cut paper or other material other than hair, so that the blade does not lose its sharp edge.
10

HOW TO USE

Keep the scissors closed when not in use.
11

RESISTANCE

Never force a cut! If you have the feeling of excessive resistance on the hair, it means that you are not using the correct scissors for that type of texture.
12

CORROSIVES

Avoid contact of blades with dye liquids or corrosive substances.
