MEASURING THE LENGTH OF THE SCISSORS

Scissors can be measured in centimeters or inches, but inches are more commonly used worldwide. Since one inch equals 2.54 cm, to convert inches to centimeters, simply multiply by 2.54. However, measurement points may vary between Europe and Asia/USA: in Europe, scissors are measured from the tip to the end of the pinky finger rest, while in Asia/USA, the measurement is taken from the tip to the end of the ring finger hole, excluding the pinky rest length.
