AKKO 16 mm WIDE GUIDE COMB

Description

The Akko Wide 16 mm Comb for A5 blades is a professional grooming accessory designed to achieve a precise, even and controlled clip. The Snap On attachment system allows the comb to be quickly fitted onto compatible blades, ensuring a secure hold during use and smooth gliding through the coat.

The 16 mm size is ideal for achieving a medium-length finish that is soft and natural, leaving a good amount of coat and volume. It is particularly suitable for maintenance trims, puppy cuts and teddy bear styles, when the goal is to shorten the coat without making it too short while maintaining a full and balanced shape.

Stainless steel Snap On combs are designed to work in combination with compatible blades, adding extra cutting length compared to the blade alone. The stainless steel construction provides strength and durability even under professional use. The fine teeth and smooth, rounded tips ensure an even glide through the coat, helping to achieve a uniform finish.

The Akko Wide 16 mm Comb is especially suitable for curly, wavy, woolly, soft and voluminous coats, such as Poodles, Doodles, Bichon Frisé, Lagotto Romagnolo, Cockapoo, Labradoodle and other Doodle crosses. It can also be used on straight or silky coats when a longer coverage is desired.

For best results, the coat must be clean, completely dry and thoroughly brushed. Knots and matting can interfere with the comb’s performance and affect the evenness of the cut. Snap On combs are particularly recommended for finishing work and require a well-prepared coat.
