AKKO 13 mm Wide Steel Slide-On A5 Guide Comb

Description

The Akko Slide On Wide 13 mm Attachment Comb is a professional grooming accessory designed to ensure a precise, even, and safe clip. Thanks to the practical Slide On attachment system, it easily fits onto compatible clipper blades, providing a stable hold throughout the entire grooming session and smooth performance even during the most demanding grooming work.

The 13 mm size is ideal for achieving a medium-short, soft, and tidy finish, perfect for regular coat maintenance and for refining the dog’s body with a natural, even result. It is a very popular length among both professional groomers and pet owners who want to keep the coat manageable while leaving more coverage and volume compared to shorter attachment combs, without performing a full shave.

The Akko Slide On Wide 13 mm Attachment Comb delivers the best performance on clean, dry, and thoroughly brushed coats. Before clipping, it is important to remove any knots, mats, and excess undercoat, as any attachment comb works more precisely when the coat is perfectly prepared. Dirty or matted hair can reduce cutting quality and affect the smooth gliding of the blade.

This size is particularly suitable for dogs with curly, wavy, woolly, soft, and dense coats, such as Poodles, Bichon Frisé, Lagotto Romagnolo, Cockapoo, Labradoodle, and many Doodle mixes. The Akko Slide On Wide 13 mm Attachment Comb allows for a fuller finish compared to shorter sizes, leaving more coat length and creating a smooth, soft, and easily manageable result.

It is widely used for maintenance trims, puppy cuts, and teddy bear styles, where a soft coat with enough coverage is desired to enhance the natural coat texture. It is especially suitable for creating more rounded shapes and a fuller appearance while maintaining the coat’s natural volume. It is also suitable for straight or silky coats such as Maltese, Shih Tzu, and Cocker Spaniel, provided the coat is properly prepared before clipping.

On curly and continuously growing coats, the Akko 13 mm Attachment Comb provides a balanced length, making daily maintenance easier without completely removing the natural coat volume. It is ideal for coats with a soft, elastic, and structured texture where a fuller and more natural finish is desired compared to shorter attachment combs. As with all comb attachments, the final result depends on coat preparation, hair density, and the groomer’s technique.

Made from strong and durable materials, the Akko Slide On Wide Attachment Comb is designed to ensure reliability even under intensive salon use. The teeth allow smooth blade movement through the coat, reducing snagging and helping achieve a clean, even, and soft finish.

For best performance, it is recommended to use the comb with a sharp, clean, and properly lubricated blade. The final result also depends on coat type, grooming technique, and proper coat preparation.

Choosing the Akko Slide On Wide 13 mm Attachment Comb means relying on a practical, precise, and professional grooming tool designed to ensure comfort during use and consistent results across a wide range of coat types. It is the ideal solution for those seeking quality, reliability, and a soft, even, and flawless finish in every grooming session.
